Bird Watching – Tours and Travel

One of the best bird watching travel site that we came across was the Northern Territory Official Site that can be found at Travel NT


This site has an up to date “Best Bird Watching Deal” section, which outlines tours offering to find a specific birds and what time of year they would most likely be found. It has the added advantage of separating the tours into savannah, floodplains and billabongs, desert and tropics so as you can focus in on specific birds.


Another impressive site for keen bird watchers is Jolly Goodfellows Bird Watching Australia


This site concentrates on the South Australian Riverland which is home to more than 230 of Australia's native bird species, some of which are rare and endangered.
